TOWACO, NJ (April 23, 2004) - TheKOBRA.com (TriKing™ Products), the innovative, three-wheeled, scooter-like vehicle that combines the fun and physical benefits of skateboarding, biking, in-line skating, snowboarding, and skiing into one unit, has announced they are sponsoring a Busch Grand National Car for the 2004 NASCAR racing season.
TheKOBRA.com is sponsoring car #51 for the Ware Team which will participate in 32 races this year. The car is driven by Stan Boyd and Kim Crosby, currently the only woman driving in the Busch series of races.
"We are excited to partner with NASCAR and chose them for the excitement of racing and the similarity of the category and the need for speed," said Juan Fernandez, President of TriKing Products. "We believe racing fans will enjoy the same sense of adventure when they try the KOBRA," he added. The TRIKING KOBRA weighs only 21 pounds and the slightly smaller model, the TRIKING PYTHON weighs only 17 pounds. Both are made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, can support 350 pounds, and reach speeds of 16 to18 m.p.h. The KOBRA and PYTHON are the only ASTM certified vehicles of their kind.
